Hi Ron,
We heard about those infected blisters – ugh. PLEASE take care of them properly (Mom mode here). And, don’t worry about a little detour because of the snow – it’s all about the experience, and making it safely and happily. Fritz and I really enjoyed our time with you, and are following your blog. I’ll try to post a picture of all of us at din in Julian.

I love reading about your adventure. Soon, you will be so strong that a 2,000 to 4,000 ft elevation gain will be nothing to you. The existence of the Trail Angels amazes me. I’ll bet you become one.
